On Sunday afternoon the 25th August, I will be sharing music in a house concert in the backyard at Merrilees' home in Highfields Newcastle.
I’ve been planning / wanting to arrange and perform more house concerts. Fortune recently brought Merrilee into my path at a gig at the Sphinx Rock Cafe Mt Burrell, Northern Rivers NSW.
After purchasing both my CD’s Merrilee asked me where else I play. I told her I was hoping to do a house concert around the Newcastle area but needed a venue. Merrilee graciously offered me her backyard and I am very appreciative and humbled by her support and hospitality.
To maintain an intimate atmosphere and the privacy of the host, the venue location will be provided up on ticket purchase. Due to the backyard size tickets are limited.
Bring along a rug and cushions and get cozy listening to my songs and songs which have inspired me. Artists like; Paul Kelly, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley and many more.
Some BBQ food will be available, but feel free to eat prior to coming or bring something along for yourself to enjoy with the tunes.

Arrive from 1pm
Music starts at 2pm and finish around 430pm.
Tickets : $20
Kids free and welcome.
In the event of wet weather alternate venue will be arranged. Let’s hope for a beautiful sunny Sunday in New Castle.
